The 49th Annual Jamboree has opened registration for an extra week!
Registration will remain open until Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 11:59 pm. WHY? Because they have anew system that is very successful along with some great SCGS members who have greatly helped get registration materials ready.
NOW, if you have never attended Jamboree, you are missing out on a wonderful conference which this year covers not only Genetic Genealogy and all aspects of Genealogy, but is including a Family History Writers section. Is there any stone they have not over turned!
If you have attended before, you know how great this conference is with the wonderful speakers and vast variety of vendors selling books, genealogy charts, genealogy software, Maureen Taylor (the Photo Detective), many genealogical societies, Flip-Pal scanner and other helpful tools as well as vendors with DNA tests on sale! There is much more, including free classes listed under JAMBO FREE in the schedule. Check out the webpage here.
For DNA classes, there are many for beginners as well as for those more advanced. These are taught by well-known genetic genealogists. Be sure to attend the half-day workshops. (Yes, I'm presenting and would love to meet you!)
Seriously, this is my favorite U.S. conference. I do hope to see you there ... so do introduce yourself!
